Thoughts on May 26th, 2012
By the end of the day, everyone is going to remember my name. Its about 12:20 and yes, my body is exhausted right now but my mind is up and running. I think the main cause of the normal insomnia this evening is that there is a girl named jamie that i am trying to date and it is becoming a lot harder then i planned it out to be. She recently broke up with her boyfriend and she gave me the "i dont want to fall in love again and get heartbroken" excuse of why we cant date right now. I had suspicion that we were in the friend zone but she pretty much reaffirmed it when she said that. Yes, i was kind of heart broken but she is so pretty and tonight she told me she was going to a party and no im not the jealous type so i didnt really care, its not like we were suppose to hangout today so im in no position to tell her what to do. Im just sitting here at now 12:24 talking about absolutely nothing that no one really cares about but me. But back to the point, shes at a party and i texted her "hows the party" and she said her and her friend hooked up with the same guy but at different times. My stomach dropped a bit but thats OK. It just sucks. But even though when im down in the dumps i always try to keep my head up but this time my head seems a little too heavy for my shoulders tonight. Not sure how im going to sleep tonight since i have to get up for work in less then 6 hours.
On better news, im working on a website for my computer repair class. The website creates a centralization of all the computers in the class with administration account, Computer repair technician accounts and even normal everyday user accounts. On the website i created a way that the admin can see all the computers currently in the classroom, which ones are finished and which ones are in progress, along with all the computers not even being currently worked on yet.
When the customer comes in with the computer, a computer repair tech comes over, directs the customer to a computer and helps them fill out information regarding the computer, the information then goes into a database with the status of 0. A non busy CRT can then log on to his account, see any computers not currently being worked on, click the "take from shelf" button and then go take the computer. Doing this makes the status equal to 1 or 'currently in progress' according to human terms. Also doing this will make the customer information on the screen be highlighted yellow. When the CRT is done he can click the "finished" button. An email is then automatically sent to the user regarding that the computer is finished and ready to be picked up. Its actually pretty cool.
Also since the class is in a high school, -- holy shit i just got the greatest idea.
how about making a "facebook" for teachers. I can start with my school district first, which is easy since i can make it so the email they sign up with is sachem.edu which only teachers are aloud to have. On the site they can share their curriculum. I can even make it so that students can view their page and teachers can post their school work and notes but to students, the ENTIRE social part of the site is gone. But if you have a teacher account, you can message, chat, view pictures, the works. im going to write more about this later. this totally changed my shitty mood. If there is a reason why my name will be remembered, its this. This is potentially huge.
