Not According to Plan...
this is just not working... i figured i was going to ask 5 people to do it, and 5 people would be banging out things in no problem. right now i have 3 people "working" and 1 person pending an answer from. person 1 is banging them out no problem, actually in the past 3 days, she's earned almost 50 bucks from me. now person 2 and 3 are sloppy. person 2 did like 30 and her computer died and she hasnt done any since, and person 3 is just not doing them, she did about 13 and stopped. so this is annoying the crap out of me, i rele only neeeed person 1. but when the projects get harder, i need more people and the easier the first project i start them out on is, the easier it will be to keep them working on the harder projects. agh. ill find out something..

Company
so the company is developing now! i set up a database for the general information of pokemon and have 1 person inputing data extremely quick, in a few hours while talking to me she entered around 60 pokemon so thats beautiful.
Now this person that's helping me is pretty much my test dummy, the person that is finding bugs and such things and giving me examples of what i should do. The following jobs in the company are as followed:
Data Entry - This job is ground level, most time consuming, pays around 10-17 cents per entry since a per hour basis isnt efficient enough.
Database Consultant - Looks through the database and finds mistakes of the data entries, making sure the data is not doubled and fields are not missed Main goal is to make the database look as beautiful as possible for the CEO. Pays around 25-75 dollars per week
CEO - President of the Corporation. Lets everyone know what to do and how to do it. No corporation is fit without a CEO.

company
so i came up with the idea of creating a "company". not sure why i said that in quotes but its going to stay in quotes. the pokemon website will be extremely time consuming, i figure if i code every day, i'll have it completed in around 4 months. that a lot of code, i know. but i want it to be nice, the best one, above all competition, im the only person i know that knows about pokemon as well as i do, besides maybe theresa and a kid i work with, not even sure if he still plays or is one of those kids who play just to play, casually, non-competitvley or willing to even join an online community of awesomeness, well, besides the point ill need a "company" the company so far that i have planned in my hand will only need to consist of 1 programmer, ME; with lots of other smaller people inserting data into a database. seems easy enough but the only problem with that is that is the verification/authentication of the data, even tho 95% of the time they will be looking at other websites and copying data (common logic data) like moves and levels, there will be one or three people that mess up on the regular, the odds of finding people that know pokemon enough to realize when something looks wrong, including the odds of finding someone that is willing to do this once a day (although they are getting paid for it) and pretty slim to none. which makes me sad face. so the company in my head so far consists of me, and a bunch of other people that have to insert data into a databases. im thinking that ive i code will having them input data, i will finish coding by the time they are finished inputting data. sounds fair enough. especially if u include the fact that i will need to insert more columns and rows. ill figure out something
BACK pt2
ok so i successfully created a MYSQL statement block that organizes all of the newsletter emails, now all thats left is to get emails for the newsletter.. and also create a news letter. all that aside, i now have time to incorporate my own personal pokedex that i wanted to do, i talked about this about 3 months ago, or a few blogs posts down and told you how i wanted to set it up but it was taking way too long to incorporate all 693 pokemon by myself, which is why i would hire people to do it for me, but the last thing that i want to do is pay 200 dollars for all of the pokemon, and then have to pay them again to redo or incorporate more stuff. pretty cumbersome, and repetitive, and annoying. i would have to write down everything that i need before-hand, and i mean everything. hmph. ill figure out something
BACK
sorry ive been away for a while, been pretty busy with personal things but i sure havent forgot about programming. ive been watching videos and been getting more into the PHP and MYSQL relationship and man do i love it, makes life so much easier. So i havent forgotten about my pokemon website, in fact i registered a domain name for it and you can see it here ThePokemonProfessor.com. its only just the very raw site, in fact the only interactability is the fact that you can be added to a list which isnt even in MYSQL yet, its just being written to a file, which reminds me that i have to finish that. thanks. let me get to that actually.
